Karen was born in Washington State and moved to Sierra Vista in 2008. Before kids and life got in the way of hobbies, Karen got into and enjoyed scroll saw art. When she was about to retire, she started scroll sawing again, but a few months later her eye site began to fail and she was unable to see the intricate work anymore. In June of 2025, she thought she would give oil painting a try and has now been painting for a year. Karen did eventually get her eye site fixed and now gets to enjoy TWO hobbies y’all!
