My name is Darla St. Pierre. I have enjoyed being an artist ever since I can remember. I am self-taught. I've never had an art lesson or class in my life. I am a Texas girl in an Arizona World. I've been in Arizona for 25 years, and I love it here. Born in Austin, Texas. Eventually growing up in San Antonio, Texas. I was able to admire all of the beautiful arts and crafts that are abundant there. I loved the experience growing up going to craft shows, art fairs, museums, etc. So I learned many of my talents from those experiences. I'm multi-talented. A few of my skills are as follows; Oil or Acrylic painting, crochet, needlepoint, pen-and-ink cards, quilting, many handmade items, painted coasters, stuffed horses, jewelry, beaded pictures, etc. I love Native American art and do my own pieces. Mostly I use my imagination and do what I visualize. If it comes to mind, I will do it. I love what I do, and I hope that you will too. My joy comes from finishing a piece of art and sharing my art for you to enjoy! Every art piece that I make or sell is handmade. I do prints of paintings; however, I only do one original.
