Callie Ryan

Hi, I’m an artist in Arizona by way of Maryland. I’ve  always loved art. When I  was younger I wanted to be a high school art teacher. Life had other plans and I was not able to really delve into art for many, many years until I discovered paint parties. I enjoyed them with my friends so much that we formed an art club, which led me to the magic of the internet and YouTube to become a self taught artist.

Since moving west, I have lots of time to devote to art, and thankfully some AMAZING cheerleaders who have given me the courage to offer my art to the universe. I began exhibiting my art in a  local gallery in September 2024, and since then I’ve branched out to other galleries and art shows.

My art has been described as bold, eclectic, playful, whimsical, often humorous and always colorfully eye-catching while telling a story of the Southwest. My art has a lot of Native American and Pop Culture influence. I like to experiment and broaden my artistic horizons. I produce art that makes me happy and I am thrilled to know that others find joy in my works as well.

Currently my art can be found in the following galleries around Arizona:

Huachuca Art Association, Sierra Vista AZ

Endeavor Art Gallery, Benson, AZ

Ground Floor Artists, Surprise AZ

Raku Gallery, Jerome AZ
