As an asthmatic child the days of crayons and coloring books where the highlight of Martha’s young years was her introduction to art. Martha was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where the majestic, castle-like  Philbrook Museum and Gilcrease Museum are located.

      Throughout the years our family would take an afternoon to go visit the Philbrook Museum gardens, a beautiful designed spacious park. So, that is when the art magic began.  

      Currently, Martha feels thankful and humble for the sincere ability to study and observe shades of color, shapes, and values and how light can change the way an object looks. Martha feels blessed to be and say she is an artist.
