I have lived in Arizona all my life, I spent my childhood chasing after my older brother, playing on my computer and taking pretend pictures, until my parents got me a real camera. I was so excited! I would get up before sunrise, gather up my camera and tripod, sneak out of the house and take pictures of the colorful sunrises. Even as a little boy, I had a great appreciation of natures’ beauty.

When I was in elementary school, we went on vacation one year to the Grand Canyon. I saw a chipmunk sitting on a rock ledge and was determined to get a good picture. My little camera did not have a zoom feature, so I crept upon it until I was less than two feet away. Even though, I made my parents extremely nervous, I got a great picture!

My love for computers grew throughout high school. I joined Cyber Patriots and won a few awards. Within a year of graduating Tombstone High School, I was able to get a job doing computer repair.  But my love for photography has never wavered.  Any time I see a beautiful sunrise, sunset, etc., I grab my camera and try to capture its’ beauty.

At age 21, I met and married the love of my life, Susan. When life permits, we drive up to Carr Canyon and wait for the sun to set. My camera is always at the ready to capture the most beautiful, brilliant sunsets that Arizona has to offer.

My mom and Tim Hurst both encouraged and convinced me to join the Huachuca Art Association so others could see my photos.  I am proud to be a member of such a nice group of people.

I have taken thousands of photographs and have thousands more to take.  I take great pleasurer capturing a little bit of natures’ beauty in my photographs.  I hope you enjoy them!
