The spontaneous construct of Phil's textured landscapes, while juxtaposing both bold and muted colors, encapsulates his visual impressions of the beautiful mountain ranges and glorious skies throughout the great Southwest.

 

Awarded 1st and 2nd places in the amateur division at the 5th annual open judged art show sponsored by the Huachuca Art Association in 2023, the artist continues to develop his own unique style and counts his lifelong passion of cloud watching as one of his favorite pastimes.
